Manufacturing Technician II – Birmingham\\n\\nJoin a passionate manufacturing team dedicated to producing world-leading diagnostic products that drive global progress. This role is based within our Protein Diagnostics Division in Birmingham, where your contributions will be instrumental in upholding a reputation for impeccable performance and groundbreaking ideas.\\n\\nThe Opportunity\\n\\nLocation: Birmingham \\nPay Rate: £12.65 per hour (Salary equivalent: £26,312).\\nContract: 6 Months (Full-time).\\nShift: 07:00 am – 3:30 pm, 40 hours per week.\\n\\nOvertime: Sporadically when needed.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities\\n\\nWorkload Management: Independently manage your own workload against a published plan and take responsibility for completing work "right first time".\\nInventory Control: Manage inventory to ensure materials are available and accurately transacted to complete assigned work.\\n\\nEquipment Maintenance: Own and perform scheduled activities for designated equipment, areas, or functions.\\n\\nProcess Improvement: Proactively identify and implement improvement initiatives across all aspects of your work.\\n\\nRequirements\\n\\nExperience: A minimum of 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, or lab setting.\\nEducation: GCSE level or equivalent with 1 year of experience, or a relevant degree. \\nTop Skills: * Technical competence with machinery.\\nA strong quality and compliance mindset in a fast-paced environment.\\n\\nAbility to work independently and under pressure.\\n\\nTechnical Literacy: Proficient in IT, specifically Microsoft Office and Excel.\\n\\nCommunication: Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to carry out complex instructions.\\n\\nPreferred Qualifications\\n\\nExperience working within a cGMP environment.\\n\\nProven background in workload management.Ready to make an impact?
