Are you a time-served MIG Welder ready to join a quality-driven, award-winning manufacturing environment? We are seeking skilled and flexible welders to join our team on assignment at Caterpillar in Stockton-on-Tees. This is a chance to work for a global industry leader, develop your skills, and potentially earn a permanent contract.

Job type: 12 months Fixed term assignment

Location: Stockton (TS18 3SD)

Pay Rate and Working Hours:

  • Night £24.10 per hour
  • OT 1.5 £28.47
  • OT 2.0 £37.96

Weekend shift pattern which rotates:

  • Week 1 - 7pm-7am Friday, Saturday and Sunday
  • Week 2 - 10.15pm - 7am Friday, 7pm - 7am Saturday and Sunday.

Responsibilities:

  • Work on build/weld fixtures to tight tolerances
  • Work under own initiative as well as part of a team
  • Follow a standard work procedure/housekeeping
  • Carry out some manual lifting
  • Use overhead cranes
  • Jig work
  • Adhering to PPE requirements and standards in place.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience of MIG Welding
  • Time Served Welder
  • Relevant NVQ Level 3
