About the Role
Join our Microbiology Division and play an active part in public health and safety. In this role, you will support the daily production and manufacture of vital microbiological diagnostic products. Working within a controlled clean area, you will help deliver solutions used worldwide for infectious disease diagnosis and bacterial contamination detection.
A Day in the Life
- Dispensing Line: Feed plates into the machinery, check product quality, and load plates onto trays for the drying phase.
- Packing Line: Pack dried plates into foil pouches and box them into finished sales units.
- Assembly: Assemble, bag, and pack accessory products as needed.
- Quality & Maintenance: Reconcile batch numbers, manufacture ID seals, and perform general cleaning duties within the controlled clean room and packing areas.
What We Are Looking For
- Education: High School Diploma, Secondary Education, or equivalent.
- Experience: No previous experience is required! (Any background in manufacturing, production, warehouses, or a lab setting is a plus).
- Teamwork & Communication: A positive attitude and the ability to collaborate well with colleagues.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow strict processes and accurately maintain simple documentation.
- Physical Requirements & Environment: Ability to lift moderate weights. Must be comfortable working in cold storage/controlled conditions between 2°C and 8°C.
