Pay Rates & Shift Schedules
- Base Rate: Β£15.58 per hour (plus shift allowances based on assigned pattern)
- Overtime: Available at enhanced pay rates
- Shift Patterns: Vary by department and may include days, mornings, afternoons, or night shifts
Key Responsibilities
As a Stores Facilitator, you will lead and coordinate total logistics solutions for the facility. Working alongside the Stores Supervisor, you will oversee stock control, help drive Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost & Environmental LEAN goals, and manage workshop deliveries and collections.
Daily duties for Stores Operatives include:
- Delivering exceptional front-line support to internal and external Engineering Lab partners.
- Receiving, verifying, and logging shipments against purchase orders.
- Managing stock levels and maintaining clean, organized storage facilities.
- Adhering strictly to Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.
- Partnering with leadership to implement waste-reduction initiatives.
- Executing inter-site transit and customer deliveries across the UK.
- Procuring parts and supplies using internal software systems.
- Performing routine material handling tasks.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Mandatory: Valid Forklift Truck (FLT) Licence.
- Mandatory: Valid UK Driving Licence.
- Proven background in logistics or inventory control.
- Strong business acumen and confident presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Clear, professional communication across all organizational levels.
- Ability to work autonomously while upholding standardized procedures.
- Strong interpersonal skills for building solid workplace relationships.
- Adaptable, supportive mindset and willingness to work rotating shifts.
- Preferred: Familiarity with LEAN methodologies (such as Kanban).
