The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

Do you have experience in setting various production machinery? Are you looking for a step up into more of a Team Lead role? Can you complete shift hours - 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm Monday to Friday? As customer demand increases there will be an expectation to run your line on 2 and 3 shifts, so the hours will fluctuate to reflect this and will then include nights - 10pm - 6am. This is a temporary position with a view to becoming permanent after 3 months training. If it is yes to the above then please apply.

Your main focus will be to:

  • set/run/maintain and changeover high output machines in line with production targets
  • ensure that safe working practices are adhered to
  • ensure machines are kept in a good safe working condition
  • ensure that the machines run to the required standards of quality and output
  • ensure all documentation is in order and completed

Your Line Leader role will be to:

  • complete on‑job training of other personnel
  • monitor OEE
  • ensure output quality level is met
  • be involved in continuous improvement activities - such as increase in up‑time/decrease in downtime
  • keep accurate information regarding the fault and downtime
  • monitor raw material usage and quality

This is a hands-on role for someone who has a passion to succeed and improve and bring a team with them on the journey! There is free on-site parking with easy access to the site.
