Are you an experienced production professional looking for a dynamic role with a leading food ingredients company? We are seeking a motivated Production Operator to join our manufacturing team at our site in Manningtree. In this role, you will be responsible for running production lines, producing high-quality finished goods, raw materials, and bespoke mixes to exact specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Line Operations: Run production lines at optimum speed, ensuring all products are made to a high standard while assisting with assembly and packing.
- Safety & Compliance: Maintain strict compliance with Health and Safety regulations, and immediately report any hazards or near misses.
- Food Safety & Hygiene: Adhere to a strict "clean as you go" policy to ensure the production area complies with Food Regulations, and perform site cleaning tasks as required.
- Quality Assurance: Carry out timely Food Safety Quality Checks in line with company policies.
- Documentation: Correctly complete and maintain all required paperwork and records to comply with regulations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with production planners, supervisors, and fellow operators to ensure products are delivered on time.
What We Are Looking For
Essential Requirements
- Proven knowledge of the Food Manufacturing industry.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build good working relationships.
- Ability to work well under pressure within a fast-paced environment and meet critical deadlines.
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively either independently or as part of a team.
- Complete flexibility to work a 3-shift rotation pattern (earlies, lates, and nights).
Desirable Requirements
- Valid Reach Truck Licence.
- Prior Manual Handling training.
- Basic computer skills.
