Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week (Mon - Thurs)
Salary:
- Day Shift: £14.27/hr
- Night Shift: £19.03/hr
- Overtime (First ten hours): £21.41/hr
- Overtime (After ten hours): £28.54/hr
Responsibilities:
- Operating forklift truck and other relevant equipment for onsite component/equipment movements.
- Loading boxes, crates, skids, frames etc. for waste disposal.
- Complete necessary paperwork relating to component equipment movements.
- Inspect, maintain and operate machinery within relevant company guidelines.
- Compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Compliance with 5S programme and other business improvement initiatives.
- Display behaviour and conduct fitting with our Values in Action.
- Train other employees if and when required.
- Any other appropriate duties.
Required Qualifications:
- The ability to follow and comprehend verbal, specific and detailed procedures and work instructions as well as basic arithmetic calculations.
- Good communication skills, experience working in a team environment.
- Ability to work reasonable amounts of overtime and various shift patterns.
Desired Qualifications:
- Forklift license.
- Reasonable level of computer literacy.
- Previous experience working in a lean environment.
- Ability to prioritise and organise sequence of work on occasion.
