Are you a skilled Forklift Driver who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment? We are partnering with a massive global leader in building materials and manufacturing to find reliable FLT Operatives to join their close-knit yard team at the historic Woodhall Spa. If you are punctual, safety-conscious, and ready to keep a high-volume operation moving, we want to hear from you!

Salary: £14.00 per hour

Contract: Temporary

Hours: 45 hours per week | Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1-hour unpaid break)

What You'll Be Doing:

  • FLT Operation: Safely operating 2.5 and 3-tonne counterbalance forklift trucks to move, stock, and load heavy bags (including 850kg bulk bags and 25kg bags) onto trailers.
  • Plant Production: Supporting the site management and operational teams to run the quarry, process plant, bagging operation, and mobile equipment.
  • Site Maintenance: Carrying out basic equipment maintenance, housekeeping duties, and daily/monthly safety recording and inspections.
  • Teamwork & Adaptability: Working collaboratively to meet production targets, minimising waste, and interacting professionally with customers when required.

What We Are Looking For:

  • A valid Forklift Counterbalance licence is required (though further training will be provided). Experience with MEWPs or Telehandlers is a great bonus!
  • Prior experience handling heavy loads (e.g., 850kg bags) and working in a quarry, manufacturing, or similar heavy-industrial environment is highly preferable.
  • A flexible approach to work, strong independence, and a commitment to strict health and safety procedures (Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work).
  • Punctual, able to learn new tasks quickly, with a solid grasp of basic maths and English.
