About the Opportunity

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Dispatch Forklift / Stacker Driver to join our busy warehousing and logistics team. Operating on a state‑of‑the‑art, BRC‑accredited manufacturing site, you will play a key role in safely moving finished products, loading and unloading HGVs, and keeping our warehouse operations running seamlessly. While experience in food manufacturing or BRC‑audited environments is highly desirable, we are also keen to hear from experienced FLT drivers coming from pharmaceutical, logistics, or lighter industrial backgrounds.

What We Offer

  • Highly Competitive Pay: £14.10 per hour (inclusive of shift allowance).
  • Paid Breaks: You are paid for your full shift's unpaid downtime.
  • Internal Training: We provide full internal training on our specific equipment (such as Aisle Masters and trailer shunting). Your existing FLT licence does not need to be RTITB, as long as it is valid and you have solid driving experience.
  • A Supportive Culture: Work with a team that values people, safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • FLT Operation: Safely and efficiently operate forklift trucks to move finished product, stack pallets in warehouse racking, and create mixed pallets for orders.
  • Loading & Unloading: Load and unload HGVs using scanners to ensure 100% accuracy in stock and load placement.
  • Stock Control: Conduct stock takes, report aged stock, and follow FIFO (First‑In, First‑Out) processes to keep inventory optimised.
  • Quality & Safety: Check incoming pallets from production for wrap quality, label visibility, and product condition. Report any issues to Team Leaders.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain clean, audit‑ready warehouses in compliance with strict health, safety, and food safety standards.
  • Development: Undertake training to operate specialist warehouse machinery and shunt trailers as required.

What We Are Looking For

Essential:

  • A valid FLT licence (any accredited body; internal conversion and training will be provided) with proven, hands‑on FLT experience.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, logistics, or transport environment.
  • Experience loading and unloading HGVs.
  • A good standard of English and Maths.
  • A strong awareness of Health & Safety standards.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, prioritise tasks, and follow instructions closely.

Desirable:

  • Experience working to specific audit requirements, such as BRC.
  • Experience with stock control systems and IT/scanners.
  • A full, current UK driving licence (desirable for trailer shunting training).
