We are looking for experienced powder paint, priming and spray technicians to join a world‑renowned manufacturing company. The successful candidate will perform high‑quality powder coating, priming and spraying tasks and take pride in their work.

Hours of Work and Salary

  • Morning shift: Monday 05:30 – 14:30, Tuesday – Thursday 06:00 – 14:30, Friday 06:00 – 11:00, £14.80 per hour (up to £15.56 after 6 months)
  • Afternoon shift: Monday 14:00 – 23:00, Tuesday – Thursday 14:00 – 22:30, Friday 10:45 – 15:45, £17.76 per hour (up to £18.67 after 6 months)
  • Afternoon shift (4 days): Monday – Wednesday 16:30 – 02:30, Thursday 16:30 – 02:00, £17.76 per hour (up to £18.67 after 6 months)
  • Night Shift: Monday 21:30 – 06:30, Tuesday – Thursday 22:00 – 06:00, Friday 17:30 – 11:00, £18.79 per hour (up to £19.76 after 6 months)

Responsibilities

  • Cover the powder coat process when required
  • Paint all parts to high standards on a moving line (speed 13 ft per minute)
  • Change equipment as per standardised work requirements
  • Rework rejected parts to achieve high quality standards
  • Maintain and store sufficient stock levels within H&S requirements
  • Adhere to the company’s Health & Safety policy and safe working practices
  • Adhere to the company’s Values in Action: Integrity, Commitment, Excellence, Teamwork

Requirements

  • Familiarity with spray system functionality
  • Knowledge of different paint types
  • Knowledge of MSDS and COSHH systems
  • Ability to change equipment such as tips and filters
  • Ability to read, comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions and procedures
  • Team‑working ability and a flexible attitude
  • Effective communication skills to interact with various organisational levels
  • Willingness to undertake training and learning as required
  • Will undergo a practical spray test prior to being offered an assignment
