About the Role

Join a leading global beverage manufacturing facility as a Production Operative.

You will be an essential part of the team ensuring high-quality products are packaged, checked, and ready for millions of consumers.

Role Overview

  • Job Title: Production Operative
  • Job Type: Temporary - Ongoing
  • Location: Forest of Dean
  • Starting Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

• Post-Parity Pay Rate: £13.62 per hour (Day & Night) after 12 weeks!

• Shift Patterns

  • 8-Hour Rotation: Morning (06:00 - 14:00), Afternoon (14:00 - 22:00), Night (22:00 - 06:00)
  • 12-Hour Rotation: Day (06:00 - 18:00), Night (18:00 - 06:00)
  • (Must be fully flexible to work all shifts and patterns)

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the effective production and packaging of high-quality goods.
  • Prepare, operate, and clean packaging equipment efficiently.
  • Perform on-line quality control checks on finished products, components, and syrups.
  • Strictly follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and adhere to safety/PPE guidelines.
  • Assist across cross-functional teams depending on daily production needs.
  • Handle manual lifting duties safely as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: Previous production operative experience or background in food/drink manufacturing is beneficial, but not essential-a great attitude is key!
  • Key Behaviours: Reliable, physically fit for hands-on tasks, flexible across shift patterns, and driven to succeed.
  • Education: GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
  • Skills: Basic computer literacy and excellent communication skills (writing, speaking, and reading).
