The Opportunity

  • Location: Specialist provisions and mainstream schools across Worthing.
  • Daily Rate: £90.00 - £95.00 (Competitive weekly pay).
  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday (Term Time Only).
  • Impact: Support students with Autism (ASD), ADHD, and SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs to achieve their unique academic and social milestones.

Key Responsibilities

  • Bespoke 1:1 Support: Provide a consistent and safe foundation for specific students, helping them navigate the school day.
  • EHCP Implementation: Work directly with Education, Health and Care Plans to deliver personalized learning goals.
  • Emotional Regulation: Use specialist de-escalation and behavioral techniques to help students manage their emotions and stay focused.
  • Promoting Autonomy: Assist with social skills and personal care, always prioritizing the student's dignity and independence.
  • Multi-Agency Collaboration: Work alongside SENCOs, therapists, and teachers to ensure a 'whole-child' approach to support.
