Join our dedicated team as a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant! Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children and young people with a diverse range of educational needs? We are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated, and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to join our supportive school environment.
About the Role
We cater to pupils aged 2 to 19 with a variety of complex needs, including:
- Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)
- Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD)
- Profound and Multiple Learning Needs (PMLD)
- Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
As an SEN TA, you will be instrumental in supporting pupils' learning, development, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide tailored support to individual pupils or small groups in the classroom, helping them access a broad, balanced, and vibrant curriculum.
- Work collaboratively with a range of professionals (e.g., Teachers, Therapists, Health professionals) to meet the individual needs of all our pupils.
- Assist in the preparation of resources and the classroom environment.
- Support pupils with personal care and mobility needs as required.
- Help to maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning atmosphere.
- Contribute to the school's high expectations for all pupils and staff.
