Your Responsibilities & Impact
As an SEMH School Teacher, you will be at the forefront of our student’s educational journey. You will be responsible for:
- Teaching Maths and/or English up to GCSE level while planning engaging, differentiated lessons that cater to diverse learning needs.
- Building positive relationships with students and managing challenging behaviours with a calm, professional, and empathetic approach.
- Contributing to the development of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and participating in school meetings.
- Collaborating with a dedicated team of parents/carers and professionals to ensure holistic student support.
Who We’re Looking For
We are searching for a compassionate and skilled educator who meets the following requirements:
- Essential: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant Bachelor’s Degree.
- Essential: 2+ years of experience working with students with SEMH needs.
- Highly Desirable: Proven experience teaching Maths and/or English to GCSE level.
- Skills: Strong classroom management, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of child development and SEMH.
