We are working closely with a 3-form entry mainstream primary school in the Liverpool area to appoint a dedicated KS2 Class Teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly, forward-thinking team during a crucial stage of children's development. You will take full responsibility for the class, fostering a safe and engaging environment where high standards of learning are met with creativity and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the classroom experience
- Curriculum Delivery: Plan and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the National Curriculum, with a strong focus on core subjects including Reading, Writing, and Maths.
- Full Class Responsibility: Manage all aspects of teaching, from initial lesson planning and delivery to final assessment and reporting.
- Inclusion & Differentiation: Implement creative and inclusive teaching strategies that meet the unique needs of every learner in the classroom.
- Assessment & Strategy: Contribute to the school's assessment and implementation strategies, tracking pupil progress to ensure high standards of achievement.
- Collaborative Working: Work within a well-supported and collaborative setting, contributing positively to the wider school life and community ethos.
What We're Looking For
- Qualifications: Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). ECTs are welcome and encouraged to apply.
- Experience: Proven classroom experience within Key Stage 2 preferably Year 3, with an understanding of pupil progress tracking and assessment expectations.
