Duties
Support teachers in keeping secondary classrooms focused, energetic, and highly productive.
Deliver dedicated 1-on-1 support for students with SEN (Autism, ADHD, SEMH) to help them navigate the school day.
Lead targeted small-group sessions in key subjects to boost confidence and bridge learning gaps.
Break down complex tasks so students of all learning abilities can succeed.
Promote positive behaviour, resilience, and personal responsibility with strong encouragement.
Assist with classroom setup, learning resources, and monitoring student engagement.
Requirements
Proven experience in education, youth work, social care, or SEN support.
Strong communication skills and the confidence to connect with secondary-age students.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
