Job: Design and Technology Teacher- Warrington Salary: £169 - £262 per day (negotiable, based on experience)

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS (ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply).
  • Knowledge of the UK DT Curriculum.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or readiness to complete one).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach hands-on, creative DT lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (including GCSE Product Design / Materials).
  • Train students in CAD/CAM software (2D Design, 3D modelling) alongside traditional workshop tools and machinery.
  • Oversee strict Health & Safety standards in the workshop and manage equipment maintenance.
  • Assess design portfolios, practical prototypes, and coursework following GCSE specifications.
  • Maintain classroom order and workshop safety to create a secure, productive environment.
