Make a meaningful difference every day. We are looking for a dedicated Support Worker to join our award-winning, independent residential school. In this role, you will provide tailored care and education to young people aged 5-25 with Autism and Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them thrive in both residential and learning environments.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Empower Learners: Assist young people with complex needs, focusing on developing their daily life skills and personal autonomy.
- Foster Trust: Build strong, positive relationships that help our learners feel safe, secure, and confident.
- Encourage Engagement: Support and guide students through educational, recreational, and community activities.
- Work Collaboratively: Partner with teachers, therapists, medical professionals, and families to deliver holistic care.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience as a Teaching Assistant, childcare provider, or care worker is highly valued.
- A background (professional or personal) in supporting children or young adults with SEN.
