This specialist community school is currently seeking a teaching assistant/SEN Trainee Teacher to join their team on a permanent basis ASAP. This role is needed due to a current member of the support team relocating. This inspiring school is a specialist independent provision that supports 90 pupils with Autism and associated needs. The school supports pupils from all walks of life from the age of 4-19 years. It is both a primary and secondary provision.

This school benefits from a long-standing senior leadership team with a clear vision for the future. In addition, the school has been recently refurbished and now offers free-flowing, bright and inviting learning environments, classrooms, therapy and sensory rooms.
In this role as Teaching Assistant/Trainee Teacher, your role will be to provide high quality, challenging and differentiated educational activities and sensory experiences through the teaching of a broad and balanced curriculum to small groups or on a 1:1 basis. This is a training role. You will start as a 1:1 TA and over 1-2 years will be given the training and qualifications to become a member of the teaching team. This role is needed Monday - Friday 08:45-4:45pm.
