This is your opportunity to join a small, independent specialist school, designed specifically for children with communication difficulties typically associated with Autism spectrum conditions. This warm and welcoming school is currently seeking a Teaching Assistant to join their team ASAP. This setting has been open for 1 year and is growing daily. It is an incredibly inviting and supportive setting that is already recognised for its positive impact and recently awarded outstanding at Ofsted.
While this school might be a small village school it has bucket loads to offer with the best of the best facilities that include access to an on-site kitchen, a fully equipped music room and an outside space that includes a wonderful trim trail and on-site Forest School.
This setting currently supports 45+ pupils between the ages of 11 and 16 years. This setting offers every learner a tailored and 1:1 education that truly changes their lives. This setting is recognised as a calm and nurturing environment to thrive.
This position is needed on a permanent basis and is a full-time opportunity. Applicants for this position must be available Monday-Friday 8:30-4:30pm. Full training will be provided and you will have immediate access to free and fully funded qualifications. This school and team are invested in the staff\\\’s futures as well as the learners.

- Relevant SEN experience
- Experience (voluntary or paid) working with children and young adults
- GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
- Eligibility to work in the UK
Responsibilities:
- Supporting in the delivery of engaging and interactive lessons and educational activities
- Supporting learners with SEN on a 1:1, small group and whole class basis
