We\’re looking for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a brand-new school that\’s passionate about helping every child succeed. This isn\’t a one-size-fits-all approach; the school is dedicated to providing a bespoke educational experience where every student can truly thrive.

The school currently supports 80 students and is expanding to 100 in the near future. All students have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Many also have additional special educational needs, including communication and interaction difficulties, ADHD, and ASD.

What you\’ll do:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students\’ academic and personal growth. You\’ll work closely with a supportive team to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Providing individual and group support to students with diverse learning needs.
  • Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
  • Implementing strategies to support student\’s social, emotional, and mental health.
  • Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to develop individualised support plans.
  • Maintaining accurate records of student progress.
