Due to rising demand across our local community, we are looking for motivated Teaching Assistants to join our secondary schools in Heswall and surrounding areas of Wirral.

Responsibilities

  • Working with small groups of students to help them catch up in core subjects.
  • Helping the teacher set up the classroom and get equipment ready for lessons.
  • Making sure students stay on task and follow the classroom rules.
  • Helping out with playground or break time supervision.
  • Assisting students with their reading and writing skills.
  • Checking that students have the right books and equipment for the day.
  • Helping to display student work on classroom walls and boards.
  • Escorting students between classes or on local school trips.
  • Handing out worksheets and collecting completed assignments.
