PE Teacher / Sports Coach (BTEC Sport)

Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality BTEC Sport lessons to students.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support academic achievement.
- Manage classroom and sports hall environments to ensure a safe, inclusive, and effective learning experience.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to students, helping them reach their full potential in both theoretical and practical sport components.
- Collaborate with department staff to refine curriculum delivery and maintain high standards of teaching.
Qualifications:
- Strong background in sports coaching or teaching, with a focus on BTEC Sport certifications.
- Ideally, a qualified teacher status, though we welcome applications from experienced sports coaches with a proven track record of working with youth.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead diverse groups of students.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to fostering a positive sports culture within the school.
- Ability to translate complex sports theory into accessible material for students of varying skill levels.
