Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver Engaging Lessons: Plan and teach stimulating Economics lessons across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 (A-Level).
  • Drive Achievement: Support students in achieving their target grades through effective assessment, feedback, and exam preparation.
  • Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development of the Economics curriculum, ensuring it remains current and challenging.
  • Student Support: Act as a mentor and guide for students, fostering a positive learning environment and promoting independent thinking.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with the Social Sciences department to share best practices and resources.

  • Qualifications: A degree in Economics (or a related subject) and UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS.
