What You\’ll Do:

As a Supply SEN Teaching Assistant, you\’ll be an essential part of the classroom, providing crucial support to both teachers and students. Your days will be varied and rewarding, including:

• Providing tailored support to students with SEN, helping them access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.

• Assisting with lesson preparation and creating an inclusive learning environment.

• Supervising students during activities, break times, and school events.

• Working individually or with small groups to deliver targeted interventions and extra help.

• Managing classroom dynamics to ensure a safe, positive, and orderly learning space.

• Communicating effectively with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress.

• Adhering to all school policies and procedures, maintaining professionalism at all times.

What We\’re Looking For:

We\’re seeking a proactive and adaptable individual who is genuinely committed to fostering a supportive educational environment. You\’ll be a great fit if you have:

• At least 1 year of experience working with children, specifically within an educational setting, with a focus on Special Educational Needs.

• Exceptional patience, empathy, and enthusiasm when working with diverse learners.

• The ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team.

• A strong capacity to adapt quickly to different school environments, student needs, and classroom challenges.

• A deep commitment to providing a positive and enriching learning experience for all students.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to build rapport with students and colleagues.

• A relevant teaching assistant qualification is desirable, especially one related to SEN support.
