Responsibilities as a Supply Teacher:

• Teach and encourage student learning in various classroom settings as directed by the Head Teacher, often with short notice.
• Demonstrate commitment to positive behaviour management and maintain pupil\’s health and safety during school activities.
• Attend to administrative and pastoral needs of assigned classes/groups.
• Set challenging yet appropriate tasks, ensuring high levels of student interest and expectations.
• Plan and deliver activities aligned with the National Curriculum, catering to student\’s needs and abilities.
• Set, mark, record, and return work following school policies.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) qualification.
• Possession of or willingness to obtain an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
• Driving ability preferred due to rural locations.
• Minimum availability of 2 days per week.
• Ability to provide two working references.
