About the Role

As a Secondary Supply Teacher in Bristol, you are the ultimate classroom chameleon. We are looking for adaptable, proactive professionals to cover a variety of subjects across Key Stages 3 and 4. You\\\’ll have the freedom to work as much or as little as you like, from daily bookings to pre-booked short-term blocks.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering pre-set lesson plans with enthusiasm and subject expertise.

  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively using the specific school\\\’s rewards and sanctions policy.

  • Ensuring a safe and productive learning environment for all pupils.

  • Leaving detailed handover notes for the permanent teacher to ensure a smooth transition.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised equivalent.

  • A flexible, \”can-do\” attitude and the ability to adapt to different school cultures quickly.

  • Strong classroom management skills and a passion for secondary education.

  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or the willingness to apply for one immediately).
