Responsibilities
- Deliver creative Science lessons adapted to diverse learning styles.
- Teach biology, chemistry, and/or physics in line with national curriculum standards.
- Encourage students to develop analytical thinking, keen observation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Promote STEM initiatives and contribute to Science-focused enrichment activities.
- Track progress and provide personalised feedback to support student growth and achievement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to drive cross-curricular links and innovative approaches to learning.
Requirements
- A UK-recognised teaching qualification (QTS or QTLS or PGCE).
- In-depth understanding of Science curriculum and contemporary instructional methods.
- Background in teaching Science at Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) levels.
- A current enhanced DBS registered on the update service, or readiness to obtain one.
- Two recent references from professional teaching positions.
- Comfortable with digital tools and practical lab-based learning.
