Have you been looking for a better work-life balance? Do you love teaching, but not the additional responsibilities that come with it? Would you like to work in welcoming, local schools? If so, this is your chance to take the next step in finding your perfect role!

I am looking for engaging Primary School Teachers to cover bookings in and around the Sudbury area, where vacancies can range between Early Years, KS1 and KS2. Whether you are highly experienced or an ECT, I'd love to hear from you.

We believe that work should fit around your life, not the other way around. Working as a teacher with Randstad, you have a number of employment types available:

  • Ad Hoc Supply: This suits around YOUR availability! You gain full control of your working diary and can update your availability whenever suits you using our booking system. There are no commitments, whether you are looking for 1 day a week or full time work - it is completely your choice! This has proven ideal for those with prior childcare arrangements in place and or those who are generally looking for part time/a day here or there.
  • Long Term Placements: This will see you working at a friendly school on a long term basis. We can offer between 1-5 set days per week (based on your location, preference and the needs of the school). Trial days and interviews can be arranged to ensure that the school is a good fit for you on a long term basis - we make sure that you are comfortable!
  • Permanent or Direct Placements: We have permanent positions available in some of the best primary schools Cambridgeshire, Suffolk and Norfolk have to offer. Once placed, you will then leave Randstad and be directly employed by the school. If the role is only part time, you can also stay with us and complete Ad Hoc or Long Term placements around this.
  • Guaranteed Worker Schemes: If financial stability is your key consideration when applying to a role, we can offer you one of our Guaranteed Working Schemes (GWS). These guarantee and protect your pay, even if we can't find you work on a given/set day. This can be set up to be between 1-5 days per week, but you must be willing to support each year group within a primary setting and be able to travel up to 20 miles from your central location/home address.
