Rate of Pay: £28 per hour + £3.38 accrued holiday pay

Contract: Part-time, with flexible hours

Start Date: September 2026 (for the new 2026/2027 Academic Year)

Responsibilities

  • As a Specialist Mentor, you will work one-on-one with students to provide tailored support.
  • Helping students achieve a healthy balance between daily living activities and academic tasks.
  • Improving organisational skills, including effective time management.
  • Assisting students in preparing for deadlines by breaking down assignments into manageable steps.
  • Supporting students in managing stress and anxiety related to their studies or daily life.
  • Guiding students in reflecting on their personal and academic experiences.
  • Boosting students' confidence by identifying and building upon their existing strengths.
  • Maintaining close communication with Randstad and reporting any student concerns promptly.
  • Upholding the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality at all times.

Requirements

This is a specialist role. You must hold active membership with at least one of the recognised professional organisations at the required level. Please refer to pages 8 & 9 (Specialist Mentor MH) to verify your eligibility.
