Are you a patient, empathetic, and dedicated individual with a passion for supporting children with special educational needs (SEN)? Randstad Education is working with a number of inclusive and supportive schools who are seeking SEN Teaching Assistants to join their team and help students thrive both academically and emotionally.
About the Role:
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you\βll work closely with classroom teachers and SENCOs to provide 1:1 or small group support to children with additional needs. These may include:

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

ADHD
-
Speech and Language difficulties

Learning difficulties
-
Emotional or behavioural challenges
You will play a vital role in helping students access the curriculum, build confidence, and develop independence in a safe and nurturing environment.
What We\βre Looking For:

Experience working with children with SEN (in a school or care setting)

A compassionate and adaptable attitude

Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff

Good communication and teamwork skills

Confidence in managing behaviour calmly and effectively
Requirements:

Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English β Grade C/4 or above
