You will play a pivotal role in assisting students with diverse complex requirements - including Autism (ASD), ADHD, and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges - empowering them to achieve their full academic and social potential.

Your Responsibilities

• Deliver Targeted Assistance: Partner with specific cohorts or individual learners to provide a reliable foundation for their success.
• Execute EHCP Goals: Utilise Education, Health and Care Plans to facilitate customised learning objectives and developmental milestones.
• Manage Behavioural Needs: Apply uniform techniques to navigate complex behaviours and encourage healthy emotional self-regulation.
• Foster Independence: Enhance students' interpersonal skills and self-reliance, guiding them through social exchanges and everyday habits.
• Engage in Teamwork: Act as a crucial member of a diverse professional group, including classroom teachers, SENCOs, and visiting specialists.
• Provide Personal Care: Offer assistance with personal care as needed, maintaining the student's dignity and wellbeing at all times.

What We Are Looking For

• Skilled: Practical experience assisting learners with SEN (Autism, ADHD, SEMH, or MLD) is a prerequisite.
• Reliable: Seeking a long-term placement where you can become a cornerstone of the school environment.
• Tenacious & Empathetic: Capable of staying composed in demanding situations and acting as a dependable mentor for pupils.
• Effective Liaisons: Skilled at establishing quick connections with students, colleagues, and families.
• Qualified: Preferably possess a Level 2 or 3 TA qualification or substantial relevant professional history.
