We are seeking an enthusiastic SEN Class Teacher to join a supportive school community. You will plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons for pupils aged 7-19 with special educational needs, including work up to GCSE standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lessons tailored to SEN pupils and lead classroom Teaching Assistants.
- Create a safe, structured environment supporting students' emotional and academic growth.
- Use de-escalation strategies to manage challenging behaviours with calm composure.
- Track student progress and maintain regular communication with parents and carers.
- Uphold strict safeguarding and pupil welfare standards.
Hours: Full-Time | Mon, Tue, Thu (8:45-16:00), Wed (8:45-16:30), Fri (8:45-15:30) | Term Time + 6 INSET Days
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Proven experience teaching pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- Enhanced DBS check and UK right to work, sponsorship not available.
- Own vehicle due to remote location.
