Salary / Pay Rate: £14.25 per hour
Job Summary: We are looking for a qualified or highly experienced SEND TA to assist in the daily academic and emotional support of children with additional needs in Runcorn. Working alongside the class teacher, you will help break down learning barriers for pupils with conditions such as Autism, ADHD, Global Developmental Delay, and sensory processing needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing tailored academic and social support to small groups or individual pupils with SEND.
- Assisting the class teacher with implementing specific strategies outlined in pupils' EHCPs.
- Creating a comforting, low-stimulus learning environment to help pupils regulate their emotions.
- Helping monitor pupil progress and feeding back observations.
