Our students at this school enjoy access to modern, well-equipped classrooms, as well as vocational areas including a digital studio, science lab and art and design base. The school\\\’s extensive grounds include horticulture learning areas, an animal care unit and excellent sports facilities.

As a SEN teaching assistant in this school you will work in small classes supporting pupils to deepen their reading, writing, mathematics and science knowledge. Beyond this, you will also support the pupils to learn other subjects such as history, philosophy and ethics, bushcraft and life skills. You will join a collaborative team of support staff and teachers and work together to support the learners.

This role is needed on a full time, term time basis (Monday-Friday). Applicants for this position must be available 08:30am-4:30pm.

Skills and experience needed for this role:

  • Previous experience in childcare, school support, care or SEN
  • Must have a GCSE in maths and English or equivalent
