Randstad Education is recruiting a proactive and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a vibrant and supportive school in Liverpool. This role is ideal for someone passionate about helping children overcome barriers and flourish in the classroom.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- Encourage active participation and build student confidence.
- Assist students with behavioural challenges and learning development.
- Support students with general classroom activities, displays, and creative tasks.
- Develop positive relationships with pupils, teachers, and parents.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children or young people, ideally in a school or SEN environment.
- A patient, empathetic, and enthusiastic attitude.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
- Legal RTW in the UK and willing to work long-term full-time for 5 days a week.
