A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a qualified and experienced SEN Teacher to join our partnered Special Educational Needs (SEN) School in Thetford. We are looking for someone who is committed to providing an inclusive and engaging learning experience for all students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Planning and delivering tailored lessons that meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Creating a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Assessing student progress, setting individual learning goals, and providing regular feedback.
  • Working collaboratively with a team of teaching assistants and other professionals to support student development.
  • Building strong, positive relationships with parents and guardians to ensure a holistic approach to student learning.
  • Implementing and adapting individualised education plans (IEPs).
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Child DBS on the update service.
  • Proven experience working with students with special educational needs.
  • Strong knowledge of various SEN strategies and interventions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A resilient, patient, and creative approach to teaching.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
