Randstad Education is looking for Teachers who want to be more than just educators. We need specialists ready to bridge the attainment gap and drive social mobility, turning classroom learning into real-world opportunity for the next generation. This is a full time permanent position and you will be required to support five days a week Monday - Friday inline with school hours.
Responsibilities
- Plan and teach high-quality, engaging lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and (if applicable) 5.
- Use data to monitor student achievement and implement interventions where gaps are identified.
- Guide students through GCSE/A-Level specifications, focusing on exam technique and marking criteria.
- Maintain a focused, respectful classroom culture using the school's behaviour framework.
- Act as a Form Tutor, supporting the social, emotional, and academic well-being of a specific student group.
- Contribute to the development of departmental schemes of work and share best practices with colleagues.
Preferred skills
- A deep, up-to-date understanding of your specialist subject and its relevant exam boards.
- The ability to adapt complex material for a wide range of abilities, including SEN and EAL students.
- Proficiency in using digital tools like Google Classroom, MS Teams, and interactive whiteboards to enhance learning.
- Competence in using school management systems (e.g., SIMS or Bromcom) to track and report on student data.
- Strong communication and public speaking skills to engage and command a room of young people.

Please note that this role is unable to offer any Sponsorship at this time.
