We are looking for qualified Secondary Supply Teachers to work across various high schools in the Blackpool area to start as soon as possible. Working as a supply teacher gives you access to a number of schools along the Fylde coast and often leads to long-term or permanent roles. Your Responsibilities

  • Classroom Delivery: Deliver a range of pre-planned lessons to students across KS3 and KS4, ensuring a positive learning environment.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain control over the whole class and ensure discipline is upheld in line with school policies.
  • Engagement: Use your innovation to enhance the learning experience and encourage children with additional needs.
  • Collaboration: Liaise with other staff members regarding student well-being and behaviour while ensuring the safeguarding of all children.
  • Adaptability: Apply various teaching methods to suit the individual needs of young people.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): A degree qualification in teaching (PGCE/B.Ed) along with QTS is essential.
  • Eligibility: Right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available).
  • Compliance: An Enhanced Child DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one promptly).
  • Passion: A dedicated interest in children's education and a positive, "can-do" attitude.
  • References: Ability to provide professional references covering your recent teaching history.
