We are seeking Qualified MFL Teachers (QTS/ECTs) specialising in Spanish, French, or German to provide expert cover across a variety of secondary schools. This role allows you to focus on the "conversation" of teaching—delivering high-energy lessons and fostering linguistic flair—without the burden of departmental data meetings or weekend marking.

Your Role as an MFL Lead: As a Secondary MFL Teacher, you are responsible for building student confidence and breaking down the barriers to effective communication in a foreign tongue.
Expert Lesson Delivery: Facilitate engaging lessons that balance the four key skills—Speaking, Listening, Reading, and Writing—using authentic resources to bring the language to life.
GCSE Focus: Support examination cohorts with targeted preparation, focusing on translation skills, verb tense mastery, and spontaneous speaking confidence.
Classroom Authority: Maintain a vibrant and supportive environment where students feel safe to take risks with their pronunciation and engage in role-play.
Adaptive Support: Differentiate resources on the fly to support students with SEND or those who are dual-linguists, ensuring the curriculum is both accessible and challenging.
Essential Requirements: We are looking for articulate and passionate specialists who can bring a taste of the world into the classroom. You are an ideal fit if you:
- Hold QTS: You have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognized teaching qualification (ECTs are highly encouraged to apply).
- Are an MFL Specialist: You are fluent in at least one major European language (Spanish, French, or German) and have a solid grasp of the KS3/KS4 National Curriculum.
