Our client is seeking a friendly and efficient Receptionist Administrator to be the welcoming face of their school. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the reception area while providing vital administrative support.
Term time | 35 hours per week | 8:00am to 4.00pm
About the School: This beautiful school is a well-established, over-subscribed, Outstanding (Ofsted 2024) special school for students aged 3-19 with severe language and communication difficulties including autism. The school offers a unique service to local children.

In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Being the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and staff, providing exceptional customer service
- Managing the school diary, scheduling events, meetings, and minibus bookings
- Supporting the administration of school events, interviews, and hospitality
- Liaising with parents, the local authority, and external agencies
- Accurately maintaining pupil records, ensuring information is readily available
- Providing comprehensive administrative support to the school office
We're looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience working within a school
- 2 recent and relevant references
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- An enhanced DBS on the update service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Proficiency with computers and office software like SIMS, Arbor
- A commitment to teamwork and a willingness to learn
