Then this School Finance Assistant position in Hackney could be the perfect fit for you! Our client is looking for an experienced Finance Officer committed to providing a highly effective and efficient administrative function to their stakeholders. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is keen to broaden their experience across a range of finance areas.

The role is full time Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Following are some of the responsibilities for this role:

  • Provide support to the finance team with a variety of financial tasks
  • Process invoices and payments accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain accurate financial records
  • Assist with budget preparation and monitoring
  • Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents

Main requirements to get cleared for this role:

  • Previous experience working with School database software (SIMS) and FMS is desirable but not essential
  • Outstanding organising and analytical skills
  • Eligibility to work in the UK - this is essential
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented and accurate
  • 2 recent proven references
