We are looking for an immediate Caretaker who takes pride in maintaining a safe, secure, bright environment for our pupils and staff to join one of our schools in Sefton. If you have basic DIY skills, a proactive attitude, and take pride in a job well done, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Be Doing Site Security: Unlocking the school each morning, securing the site at the end of the day, and acting as a key holder. General Maintenance: Handling basic DIY and routine upkeep (e.g., changing light tubes, minor plumbing fixes, painting, hanging shelving, and simple repairs). Grounds Premises: Ensuring outdoor areas, pathways, and play zones are clean, safe, and hazard-free. Health Safety: Performing routine checks (e.g., water testing, fire alarm tests) and liaising with contractors for major servicing. Community Support: Assisting with setup for school events, assemblies, and managing deliveries.
