We are looking to add an experienced Reception Administrator to our Business and Administration Team - supporting a fast-paced, dynamic and innovative school. The role is full time during school term Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

In this role, you will:

  • Monitor and analyse student attendance data, identifying trends and areas of concern
  • Implement strategies to improve attendance, working closely with students, families and staff
  • Provide individual and group support to students facing attendance barriers
  • Conduct home visits and liaise with external agencies as needed
  • Develop and deliver programs promoting student well-being and positive school engagement
  • Work with parents/carers to address attendance issues, providing support or referring to external agencies as required
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on attendance and welfare matters
  • Attend multi-agency safeguarding meetings (e.g., Child Protection Conferences, Core Group Meetings) and provide reports
  • Support staff training and awareness on safeguarding and child protection procedures

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Experience of working with children and young people, ideally in a school or educational setting
  • Enhanced child DBS on the update service or willingness to get one
  • 2 recent professional references
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and school database SIMS
  • A strong understanding of safeguarding procedures and child protection policies
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
