The Role:

- Classroom Supervision: Oversee classes across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5 (ages 11-18) during teacher absences, ensuring students remain focused and on-task with pre-set work.
- Behaviour Management: Effectively implement the school's behaviour policy, maintaining a positive, orderly atmosphere and dealing with any immediate issues promptly.
- Supporting Learning: Respond to general queries from students regarding their work, helping them access materials and stay engaged (no subject‑specific teaching required).
- Administrative Duties: Register student attendance and leave detailed, accurate notes for the returning teacher regarding lesson progress and behaviour.
- School Ethos: Act as a positive role model, promoting the school's values and maintaining high expectations for all students.
