About the Role
Are you a dedicated Qualified Teacher with a passion for special education? This is a rewarding opportunity to join an Ofsted-rated \”Outstanding\” school that provides exceptional education for children with autism aged 4-19.
We are looking for a collaborative and innovative teacher to join our supportive team. You will be instrumental in developing and delivering a dynamic curriculum, using your expertise in behaviour analysis and positive reinforcement to help every pupil reach their full potential. This role is ideal for a teacher who is passionate about continuous professional growth, with access to fully funded training and development, including behaviour analysis qualifications and a Masters-level programme.
Key Skills and Experience
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teaching & Learning Status (QTLS)
- Note: For Early Career Teachers (ECTs), a minimum of 1 year of a supported induction process in a mainstream setting is required.
- Experience working with pupils with autism using behaviour analysis and positive reinforcement.
- Proficiency in data collection and analysis to develop tailored support plans.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons.
- A proven understanding of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
- Experience within the UK school system and familiarity with the National Curriculum.
- A strong commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.

- Reports to: Lead Teacher and Co-Headteacher
- Working Hours:
- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 8:45am – 4:45pm
- Tuesday: 8:45am – 5:30pm
- Friday: 8:45am – 4:30pm
