We are currently recruiting for ad-hoc supply positions offering daily cover at £120 - £140 per day. In these roles, work is provided for you - no planning is needed. You will simply deliver the work, maintain classroom standards, and mark before leaving. This is perfect for maintaining your classroom status without full teaching responsibilities. Alternatively, we have long-term roles paying £150 - £220 per day for those seeking maternity or contract cover. These involve full planning, preparation, and wider school responsibilities, offering a higher rate for your specialist expertise.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons covering the Maths curriculum, including Algebra, Geometry, and Number.
- Assess, monitor, and record student progress, using data to identify learning gaps and inform interventions.
- Establish a stimulating and well-managed classroom environment that promotes problem-solving skills.
- Collaborate effectively with the department head regarding schemes of work and student handover information.
- Uphold all school policies regarding safeguarding, behaviour management, and professional conduct.
- Full Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Mathematics or a quantitative field.
- Proven experience teaching Mathematics across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE).
- Deep curriculum knowledge and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and engagingly.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the flexibility to adapt to established procedures.
- A current Enhanced Child DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
