Randstad Education is working with a leading college in Cambridge who are looking for a passionate and skilled Plumbing Lecturer to join their delivery team. This is an exciting opportunity to move into education or continue your journey in teaching, making a real difference in the lives of learners preparing for careers in the plumbing industry.
This leading further education college, which serves the Cambridge area, holds \’Good\’ and \’Strong\’ Ofsted ratings for fulfilling regional skills demands. The college provides specialist facilities for vocational training in numerous sectors, including construction, engineering, and hospitality.
This is a full time permanent position and you will be required to support five days a week Monday – Friday inline with school hours 08.30am – 04.30pm.

Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality teaching and assessment to diverse student groups.
- Develop curriculum, lesson plans, and assessment materials.
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback as a personal tutor.
- Maintain and develop strong links with industry employers.
- Complete all administrative and assessment tasks accurately and on schedule.
- Integrate and uphold all health, safety, and safeguarding procedures.
Preferred Skills:
- Level 3 vocational qualification (or equivalent) in Plumbing.
- Substantial and recent industry experience as a professional plumber.
- GCSE Grade C/4 (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to teach and motivate.
- Strong organisational skills and proven ability to meet deadlines.
- IT proficiency for creating resources and managing student records.
- Teaching or assessor qualifications (e.g., PGCE, A1) are desirable but not essential.
