What You'll Be Doing
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of secondary subjects (no planning required!).
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively, creating a positive and focused learning environment.
- Follow school policies and safeguard students in line with each school's individual guidelines.
- Leave brief handover notes for the returning class teacher at the end of the day.
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/ECT) is highly preferred, but we also welcome applications from highly experienced Cover Supervisors or Instructors.
- Strong classroom management skills and a calm, confident presence.
- Flexibility and the ability to hit the ground running in a new school environment.
- Reliable transport or a willingness to travel around Holsworthy and neighbouring towns.
- An enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or a willingness to apply for one).
