We are a warm, inviting, and community-led setting that prides itself on providing a "home away from home" for our children. We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Nursery Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of our setting. You won't be flying solo; you will be supported by a dedicated Admin Assistant for parent enquiries and Sarah, our finance lead, who handles the heavy lifting on the accounts. This allows you to focus on what matters most: quality of care, staff leadership, and the happiness of our children.

Hours: Flexible! Typically 35-40 hours per week.

Pay: £30,000 - £33,000 (Pro Rata) depending on experience.

Shifts: The nursery operates 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM (we are open to discussing flexible start/finish times).

The Team: You will lead a passionate team of 22 staff (including many part-time members).

Operation: We run year-round, including term time and our popular holiday club.

To keep our nursery thriving, you'll need to hit the ground running with the following:

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification (minimum).
  • Safety First: Must be DSL (Designated Safeguarding Lead) qualified and hold a current Paediatric First Aid certificate.
  • A community-focused mindset with the ability to lead a diverse team with empathy and wit.
  • Overseeing the daily operations and ensuring Ofsted compliance.
  • Maintaining a safe, nurturing environment for up to 46 children.
  • Support System: No more drowning in spreadsheets or endless parent phone calls as we have dedicated support staff for that.
  • A minimum 6-month contract with a competitive salary in a long-standing, respected setting.
